NPQLTD Practice Activities: Teaching Foundations Internalise expertise Select one of the following three activities to submit to your leadership mentor. Choose an activity based on your areas of interest and the results of the initial needs analysis undertaken at the start of the course.

Activity 1: The science of learning Read Deans for Impact’s The science of learning, paying attention to the cognitive principles outlined. Choose two of the principles and reflect on their implications for the practice of teachers in your school. Select one of the dimensions and reflect on the implications of the guidance for the practice of teachers in your school.
