St. Georgeʼs, Fort St. Catherine If there’s one fort that truly brings Bermuda’s past to life, it’s Fort St. Catherine. Packed with historic exhibits, artifacts, and a well preserved interior, this stone built fort houses a museum and is one of Bermudas most impressive structures and in the old artillery store there is an exhibit of the fort’s development over four centuries. Other Forts worth adding on to this visit are Gates Fort and Alexandra Battery located within walking distance.

St. Georgeʼs Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve At the eastern end of Bermuda in St. David’s, this 12-acre reserve offers a blend of quiet beaches, woodland trails, and sweeping views of Castle Harbour. Clearwater Beach and Turtle Beach sit right next door, and a seasonal beach house offers rentals. Trails wind through introduced botanicals and areas where native Bermuda cedar and palmetto are being reintroduced. Getting here: Bus route 6.
