Aroooo! Meet Daxter! Daxter is a super social, 7-year-old treeing Walker coonhound who loves people more than anything. He arrived at Berkshire Humane Society with his siblings, Lexy Bell and Lincoln when their owner was sadly forced to give them up. As with most hounds, Daxter likes to sing the song of his people, as well as take in all the good “smells” around him while out on a jaunt. He walks well on his easy-walk harness and is completely housetrained. Daxter would make a great hiking and walking buddy to keep him active, and he thoroughly loves the company of other dogs. He would do well with children aged 10 years and older, but no feline friends, as he has a prey drive. The staff describe him as a lovable goof, who’d make a great companion for someone looking for an all-around good boy! Interested in learning more about this handsome gent?
