Assembling the first Shopper’s Choice Awards ballot was a test of restraint; How do you condense an entire bustling community into just a few square inches of newsprint? Eventually, we managed to chisel away our list to just 54 categories, and then we handed off the job of choosing each Shopper’s Choice Award winner to you, our Shopper’s Guide readers.
