Distinguished Clubs status by Boardroom Magazine as well as prestigious industry accolades and honors, further serves to distinguish Berkeley Hall Club. This year, as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary with a tented gathering of 400+ members, we find ourselves poised to usher in a new era. One that reflects our Club’s commitment to meet and surpass the evolving demands of our membership.
This $2 million investment in our future encompasses the newly refreshed full-season Verandah for dining and social gatherings, with open-air kitchen and counter seating, as well as redesigned amenities throughout the Club, including new Bocce Ball Courts open to our Verandah terrace with golf course views. Honored to host the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship in 2021, Berkeley Hall welcomed some of the top talented amateur players in the world. The 34th U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur wase the club’s third USGA Championship and continued
our tradition of hosting premier amateur tournaments such as The Players Amateur from 2012 to 2019. Consistently ranked among the top private golf courses, and reciprocal relationships among elite private clubs in the Southeast further elevate our brand and universal recognition among those seeking the best in club lifestyle amenities. In addition, Platinum Club reciprocal relationships with private clubs around the globe provide the level of service and amenities enjoyed the world over.

Making a Difference Locally With a rich history of philanthropy in the Lowcountry, our Berkeley Hall Charitable Foundation’s vision is to "Make a difference by addressing the basic human needs of the greater Bluffton Community, especially those who are most vulnerable." Thanks to the Berkeley Hall community’s extraordinary generosity, the Berkeley Hall Charitable Foundation has raised over $4 million for Lowcountry charities since its inception in 2008. Each year monies raised from Berkeley Hall residents and local business partners at the annual Charity Cup event fund the following year’s grant cycle. Together we are truly able to make a difference in our greater community. With the creation of the Foundation Endowment Fund, now over $1.6 million, we further continue our legacy of giving. As we get ready to celebrate the Club's 25th Anniversary, our endowment goal this year is $2.5M for 25!

Unparalleled Golf Practice Facility & Learning Center, Dog Park, River Park, Fitness & Spa — It’s All Right Here! The golf experience at Berkeley Hall is a seamless blend of natural wonder and architectural craftsmanship, with our two Tom Fazio-designed courses, inspired by classic designs of the 1920s, such as Riviera Country Club, Winged Foot and Seminole. With routing that meanders through open coastal landscape framed by seaside grasses, dramatic elevation changes, beautiful water features, and bold strategic bunkering. To truly enjoy our courses, we dedicated 33-acres to creating one of the finest golf practice facilities - Named a Golf Digest “Top 75 Golf Practice Facility,” and one PGA Tour players have called among the world’s best.
At Berkeley Hallʼs Fitness Center & Spa we offer a balanced approach to innovative sports medicine with fitness evaluations and TPI training, along with wellness, sauna and steam rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, state-of-the-art pickleball and tennis, and relaxing spa treatments. Pups and their owners can’t get enough of our Dog Park, with plenty of space to play and romp. At the River Park, our open-air waterfront Pavilion makes the most of our Lowcountry setting. It’s easy to think here as sunlight glimmers through the trees, along the banks of the Okatie River. Surrounded by walking paths and nature trails below moss-draped live oaks, our community dock is the perfect place to drop in a line for some afternoon fishing, watch dolphins at play or simply enjoy the sun set. Here, members can gather for casual dining, join friends at the Verandah bar, and enjoy the open kitchen view with casual counter seating. Whether enjoying casual wine tastings, drinks after a round, or dining as the sun sets with views of our gorgeous North Course 9th and 18th holes. Club refinements reflect our casual Lowcountry design; the adjacent Palmetto Room serves as a more formal dining venue, along with our Tap Room’s relaxed sophistication and design element enhancements found throughout the Jeffersonian-style Clubhouse. With an influx of new members in recent years, Berkeley Hall’s membership is a growing one. Our forward-thinking community shares a commitment to the ease our Lowcountry lifestyle brings, with the elevated, premier Club experience our members are looking for.
