Specified sound insulation values were measured in an office environment by an independent testing institute in accordance with EN ISO 16283-1 and characterise the sound insulation properties of the entire room-in-room system, including all secondary sound paths. The sound insulation from room to room depends on the sound insulation of the installed partition wall system and the longitudinal sound insulation of the flanking components. Flanking components (e.g. floor partitions), connections that are not sealed on site and their penetrations (ventilation, water and electrical installations), which do not have the required sound insulation value, considerably reduce the sound insulation value from room to room. For this reason, Bene GmbH expressly points out that it assumes no warranty for the sound insulation from room to room in the installed state. R’w: Sound insulation value of the entire room-in-room system in accordance with EN ISO 16283-1 Rw: Sound reduction index of an individual wall element (EN ISO 10140-1 to 5) Speech level reduction according to ISO 23351-1 - this value depends on the ratio of the sound-reflecting surface to the absorber surface. This ratio influences the reverberation time, the weighted sound insulation (R’w) and, above all, the sense of well-being in the think tank. A reverberation time of approx. 0.2 to 0.3 s is perceived as pleasant. It is recommended that sufficient sound-absorbing surfaces (wall absorbers or acoustic ceilings) are always provided during planning.

NOOXS THINK TANK PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION NOOXS THINK TANK MOTION DETECTOR WITH A DELAYED CONTROL UNIT Note: The following explanation refers to the delivery status of the NOOXS Think Tanks. However, the values contained therein can be changed by specialised personnel. Further information can be found in the ‘NOOXS Think Tank control unit user manual’. AUTOMATIC OPERATION Lights, ventilation and air conditioning (if available) are activated automatically when the Think Tank is entered. In the delivery state (default values), level 2 is activated for all functions, but this can be changed by specialised personnel (Bene employee or facility manager) (see NOOXS Think Tank Control user manual). The user still has the option of using the membrane switch in the door frame to control the lighting, ventilation and (if available) the air conditioning in 3 stages according to their needs. When leaving the Think Tank - and therefore after the last presence detection - the system waits 100 seconds and then switches from the ‘active’ status to the ‘inactive’ status, in which the light in the Think Tank is dimmed by 50%. The system then waits another 100 seconds before automatically switching to ‘flush’ mode. Here, the light is switched off and the ventilation is raised for a further 100 s in order to exchange the air in the think tank as quickly as possible. The system then returns to standby mode. MANUAL OFF MODE In some situations, it may be useful to deactivate the system manually to switch off the light, ventilation and (if available) the air conditioning. The motion detector remains active in this mode. To do this, the I/O button must be pressed once briefly. As long as the motion detector recognises users in the Think Tank, the system remains switched off. After the last presence detection (user has left the room), the system waits 600 s (value: ‘Manual off timeout’) and then automatically switches to automatic mode, starting with the flushing phase, in order to clean the Think Tank before the next use (air exchange). NOOXS THINK TANK PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION CONTROL - NOOXS THINK TANK Light control and fan control Position: Hinged door, door frame inner side
Lighting and ventilation are controlled via the membrane keypad located on the inside of the door frame. With a short press of the button, lighting and ventilation can be adjusted in three power levels to suit personal needs. The preset performance values can be changed by the customer at any time. Detailed instructions can be found in the NOOXS Think Tank control user manual. From firmware version 1.08, a real-time clock with automatic time zone synchronisation and the “Calendar” tab enable recurring actions to be scheduled, such as air exchange in NOOXS Think Tanks at set times.
Phone Booth: There is no switch in the Phone Booth, instead it is controlled automatically via the motion detector.

1 Duty of notification regarding TSG - Spontaneous glass breakage A spontaneous glass breakage at tempered safety glass (TSG) may occur due to unavoidable impurity inclusion during production process. A delayed destruction of TSG without apparent external influence will be considered as spontaneous glass breakage. The risk of spontaneous glass breakage can be reduced by a fee-based heat soak test in accordance with EN 14179 standard. However, this process does not completely exclude the risk. Glasses tested in this way are called heat soaked tempered safety glass (TSG-H).
Further, qualified personnel should regularly check frameless glass constructions in order to detect possible damages, which can cause a glass breakage, timely. Impurity inclusions and related spontaneous glass breakage are physically unavoidable and therefore Bene will not accept claim of warranty. Door closer: The opening angle of the hinged doors with frame but without door closer is max. 175 ° and for solid core doors max. 134 °. The maximum opening angle is restricted by installing a door closer. Glass door with assembly to a post: Opening angle max. 120 °
2
Accessories: An opening limiter is used to prevent an open door from hitting adjacent walls. The opening limiter is no overload protection and will in most cases not replace a door stopper. Grid fixing unit: The grid fixing unit is used for mechanic fixing of doors which are supposed to be kept open for a temporary period. 3 Colours & materials Aluminium natural anodised A6 or black powder-coated (RAL 9011 dull matte)
Possible door opening directions Opening directions “inward” and “outward” permissible. Configuration Position of the wall, door elements and opening direction may be freely defined. Positions of the elements may also be changed subsequently according to the system specifications.

NOOXS THINK TANK THE BENE RESPONSIBILITY
THE BENE RESPONSIBILITY Bene plays a pioneering role in the field of sustainability. This spans all company divisions – from product development, procurement, production, and logistics to product recycling. From the first sketch through to series production, ecological requirements are always an important factor in the product development process. It includes selecting environmentally compatible materials, such as certified timbers from sustainably managed forests, using recycled materials and increasing the use of renewable raw materials. Other important requirements for a sustainable product design are labelling the materials, their ability to be repaired, and a long service life for the components used, with the aim to integrate them into a second product life cycle. To guarantee a high recyclability standard for our products at the end of their service life, we avoid composites as much as possible and develop furniture that allows for disassembly by material type. Bene products are sourced and made in Europe. 99.9% of all deliveries reach us from a European country. Around 94% of all raw material supplies come from Austria and Germany. Around 93% of the raw materials comes from suppliers within 500 kilometres of our production site. SUSTAINABLE RAW-MATERIALS At Bene, the following materials are used as a matter of course: · chipboards low in formaldehyde · glues low in formaldehyde · water-based varnish systems · recyclable materials · materials with a high recycling share · PVC-free synthetics
Bene guarantees products free from: · CMR substances · halogenated solvents in synthetics · chlorinated hydrocarbons · heavy metal pigments · materials with azo pigments · Coatings with biocidal effects (such as wood preservatives, pesticides).
CONTRIBUTION TO BUILDING CERTIFICATIONS In the context of ecological building certification, design systems such as furniture and dividing walls help to achieve a good result and a higher score. Bene's products make a contribution towards the LEED, WELL Building Standard, DGNB, BREEAM, etc. certifications. Criteria include, for example, environmental product declarations, indoor air quality, acoustics and convertibility.

These are prepared in accordance with EN ISO 14040, EN ISO 14044 and the applicable Product Category Rules (PCR) of the International EPD® System for UN CPC 3811, 3812 and 3814. The LCDS include the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) covering the entire life cycle (cradle-to-cradle). Environmental information from Bene: https://bene.com/en/bene/sustainability
