KX STORAGE KX. Furniture for storage. It structures and organises spaces. Storage furniture with a high technical standard. Can be used for wall claddings as a solitary piece of furniture or as a combination of lower and upper cabinets. Sturdy construction, durable materials and can be perfectly organised.

Choose between sliding door cabinets, tambour cabinets, hinged door cabinets and drawer cabinets, as well as open shelf units. Cabinet base: 19 or 25 mm thick. Individual design options through a variety of colours, materials and surfaces.

Optional base panel: Plastic in AS asphalt or AL aluminium coloured. 4-sided canted plastic profile with corner connectors.

Optional steel base K2: Steel profile in AS asphalt. 4 canted steel profiles, height: 45 mm. Integrated level adjustment of 45-65 mm via adjustment feet.

CABINET TYPES Upper cabinet The upper cabinet can only be installed on top of the lower cabinet. It is connected to it with four chipboard screws. From deliveries starting in 05/2026, top cabinets are supplied without holes for leveling feet.

Lower cabinet Standard delivery of the lower cabinet includes a top plate.

Melamine front · 16 mm chipboard · with plastic handle strip, available in the colors: MW white, MP platinum, MA aluminium, MS slate, MB basalt or HB light brown.

Acoustic front for sliding door cabinet An optional acoustic front is available for the melamine (veneer available upon technical request) sliding door cabinet. Assembly Either hanging file frames or pull-out file drawers can be installed. But no hanging file frames can be installed with 2 OH with drawers! Drawer cabinets are always secured against tipping, which is why the counterweight is built into the cabinet as standard.

KX STORAGE ARRANGEMENT OPTIONS

ARRANGEMENT OPTIONS CASTOR BASE Available for all cabinet types - with the exception of the drawer cabinet - can be fitted with a castor base. The base consists of two castors with brakes and two castors without brakes at the back, each with a diameter of 75 mm. The castors are available in white, black or aluminium. A special width, depth and height ratio must be observed to ensure stability. Conditions · width: 445 - 1.200 mm, depth: must not be less than 445 mm, height: max. 2 OH · width: 600 - 1.200 mm, depth: must not be less than 600 mm, height: max. 3 OH

INFILL PANELS Ceiling and lateral infill panels Infill panels for connecting to the ceiling and walls of the building. The infill panels are of 19 mm chipboard. Maximum dimensions: 1,600 x 250 mm for ceiling infill panels and 2,400 x 250 mm for lateral infill panels. Final cutting to size is done on site.

Cabinet corner infill panel Infill panels to close gaps on 90° corners. The blind consists of a panel and base of 19 mm or 25 mm, front panel and two sides.

CABINET CONNECTION In pCon.planner, it is possible to create a connection with additional cabinets using the "cabinet connection" option. The connection can be selected on the left, right, or both sides, allowing multiple KX cabinets to be linked together. The type of connection depends on the panel thickness. for 19 mm chipboard To connect the cabinets, a drillhole is provided in the top and bottom panels on the respective side. During assembly, these are connected using the supplied coupling pins.

When combining a wide hinged door wardrobe without a middle panel (standard in pCon.planner) and smaller upper cabinets (see system symbol sketch), the deflection of the top plate of the lower cabinet can become critical.

FUNCTION & ORGANISATION WARDROBE UNIT In hinged door cabinets, either a pull-out coat rail or a fixed coat rail can be selected as an option. Pull-out coat rail: Width 600–1,200 mm, depth 445–500 mm, from a height of 1,131 mm. Hanging section with rail on the right, shorter shelves on the left. The width of the hanging section is fixed; the shelving section adjusts accordingly. Fixed coat rail (only across the full cabinet width): Width 300–1,200 mm, depth 550–600 mm, from a height of 1,131 mm. FUNCTION & ORGANISATION FABRIC REAR WALL All cabinet types can be optionally equipped with a pinnable fabric rear wall. The existing rear wall that matches the carcass design is replaced by a fabric rear wall. This overlaps in the back by 4 mm.

KX BOX A KX Box can optionally be placed on all cabinet types. Panel thickness: 19 mm or 25 mm chipboard in melamine or veneer. Widths: 300 mm - 1600 mm, heights: 300 | 390 | 415 mm, depths: 300 mm 600 mm. Front type selectable open, recessed or open, flush front. A cabinet can also be fitted on the left, right or both sides. Excess length of top up to max. 200 mm possible. A cable outlet can also be configured. As the KX Box does not have a back panel, it must be taken into account during planning that vertical extension is not permitted.

PP PLANTER BOX Optionally, a Planter Box can be placed on all cabinet types. This can be fitted with or without Planter Trays for planting. The Planter Box must be screwed to the base unit during assembly.

Planter Tray: Material made of 100 % PCR polystyrene (post consumer recycling material), always in black, recyclable and reusable after its life cycle. Planter Box: Chipboard, 19 mm, in the same design as the cabinet or different, if desired.
