KT SIDEBOARD THE ART OF MULTITASKING. The KT sideboard makes private and confidential papers and items simply disappear from view. The KT sideboard can be used for a variety of functions: It can support the table top, when fixed together
using a connector, or to discreetly feed cabling to and from the table surface. Of course, the lockable storage unit offers space for stationery and all kinds of office utensils.

The sideboard is fitted with two shelves as standard. When combined with a CPU swivel board or a desk connection module, a shelf is only possible on the sliding door side. In general, no built-in components are permitted on the hinged door side.

OPTIONS PREPARATION FOR DESK CONNECTION MODULE For the CONSULT PURE (LIFT) (2), the KT Sideboard is always used as a frame replacement on one end. For the Workstation and LEVEL (PURE) (LIFT) (2) tables, it can be selected as a frame replacement. Alternatively, the table can be configured with a standard leg and the KT Sideboard simply placed under the table.

ANGULAR ROTATION The KT Sideboard can be freely adjusted between 90° – 120° (adjustment range: 30°). Angular rotation is only possible with the LEVEL (PURE) (LIFT) (2) tables featuring a round column guide. BENE’S RESPONSIBILITY Bene plays a pioneering role in the field of sustainability. This spans all company divisions – from product development, procurement, production and logistics to product recycling. From the first sketch through to series production, ecological requirements are always an important factor in our product development process. They include selecting environmentally compatible materials, such as certified timbers from sustainably managed forests, using recycled components and increasing the use of renewable raw materials. Material labelling, repairability, and a long service life of the components used are also key requirements for product design, ensuring that these can be given a second product life cycle. In order to guarantee a high recyclability standard for our products at the end of their service life, we avoid composites as much as possible and develop furniture that allows for separation by type when it is disassembled. 99.9% of all deliveries reach us from a European country. Around 94% of all our raw material supplies come from Austria and Germany. Around 93% of the raw materials comes from suppliers within 500 kilometres of our production site.
SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIALS At Bene, the following materials are used as a matter of course: · chipboards low in formaldehyde, · glues low in formaldehyde, · water-based varnish systems, · recyclable materials, · materials with a high recycling share, · PVC-free synthetics.
Bene’s products are guaranteed free from: · CMR substances, · halogenated solvents in synthetics, · chlorinated hydrocarbons, · heavy metal pigments, · materials with azo dyes, · Coatings with biocidal effects (such as wood preservatives, pesticides).
CONTRIBUTION TO BUILDING CERTIFICATIONS In the context of ecological building certification, design systems such as furniture and dividing walls help to achieve a good result and a higher score. Bene’s products help achieve the LEED, WELL Building Standard, DGNB, BREEAM, etc. certifications. Criteria include, for example, environmental product declarations, indoor air quality, acoustics and convertibility.
