Collaborated with the principal architect to • develop a dormitory design option for the Maryland School for the Deaf (MSD), producing drawings for cost estimation and comparing pricing across design options. • Developed architectural renderings for a client (MSD) review meeting during design development, communicating project progress and supporting client feedback.

Produced construction drawings for the reconstruction and preservation of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 1901 Davenport House, garage, and terrace.

Supported construction administration for preservation projects at Trinity University and the Smithsonian Castle by documenting site progress, conditions, and construction concerns through field reports.

Conducted on-site measurements of historic wood panels and developed dimensioned profile drawings for custom millwork fabrication, coordinating directly with the millwork company to obtain estimates and clarify fabrication requirements.

Worked directly with architect Paul Harding, FAIA, and a small design team to develop drawing sets and bid proposals while archiving • historic documentation for churches and legacy Harding Partners projects.

Drafted residential unit layouts and coordinated interior design development for kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms within multifamily and mixed-use projects. Sourced finish materials including tile, carpeting, paint, wood paneling, lighting, brick, and stone, coordinating with suppliers and visiting coordinators at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart to obtain samples and pricing.

Participated in a 16-day academic exchange • across Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Yiwu, studying how global supply chains (manufacturing and wholesale) has developed and facilitated rapid urbanization and modernization in China. • Teamed up with Southeast University architecture students in a cross-cultural design charrette, continuing a longstanding academic exchange between Penn and Southeast University.

Mentored an undergraduate architecture student, providing guidance on academic and career opportunities, graduate school, and portfolio and resume development.

Built relationships with NOMA members, alumni, and local professionals through networking events, including an early-access visit to Calder Gardens and a Philadelphia preservation project tour.

CHSA + Discover Architecture Volunteer / Urbana, IL / Jun 2023 + Jun 2024

Coordinated the recruitment of 500 volunteers • to pack 100,000 meals for children in need, in total we were able to feed 253 children in Haiti for an entire year. Through outreach and communication, raised over $25,000 for Feed My Starving Children, a 501(c)(3) organization. • Led a committee to plan and organize philanthropic events on campus and in the community throughout the school year.

Supported the Construction History Society of America conference by coordinating visiting professionals and historians across campus while engaging with research on preservation and the evolution of construction methods across the United States. Served as a student RA/TA for prospective architecture students, coordinating studio activities, answering questions about architectural education, and providing feedback on design work.
