WELCOME TO OUR 37TH ANNUAL BULL SALE!

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend our bull sale on Friday, March 6th, 2026!

There has never been a better time to be in the cattle business, or a better time to invest in quality genetics! At Davidson Gelbvieh & Lonesome Dove Ranch, we’re committed to producing a consistent set of bulls that will meet the needs of our customers and achieve their goals.

Our focus is clear: raise bulls that are built to breed, last, and perform. They will sire calves that grow, thrive, and build momentum. We believe in cattle that are fertile, easy to manage, practical, and capable of thriving across a wide range of environments.

Whether you’re sourcing one new sire or your entire bull battery, and whether you are a commercial or seedstock cattleman, you’ll find that this large selection of bulls brings a lot of qualities to the table.

Within our 2026 offering, we have eye-catching, deep-bodied, sound-made bulls. We have several strong groups of half-brothers, and offer performance and calving ease bulls. There are reliable, proven bloodlines as well as new, innovative genetics.

All bulls are registered with the Canadian Gelbvieh Association, are sire-verified, DNA tested (100K), and evaluated for homozygous polled and black traits. A complete health exam and breeding soundness evaluation is conducted on each bull prior to sale day.

To our valued, loyal customers and friends, thank you for your continued trust. We look forward to visiting with you! If you’re new to our program, we welcome your inquiries and look forward to the opportunity to help you find bulls that fit your operation.

Friday, March 6, 2026 is sale day. Join us for coffee and donuts in the morning, a beef lunch at 11:00 am and a live sale at 1:00pm Saskatchewan time. Bring your family, bring your neighbours, and enjoy the day with us in our heated sale barn!

We’re excited about the road ahead—and we’d be proud to be part of your breeding program.

We purchased DRT Lonesome One & Done 38J from Ross & Tara – he has been an outstanding addition, to our herd bull battery! Just when you think they can’t get any better it does!! His EPD’s are awe-inspiring but more impressive is his take up with discriminating bull buyers including Davidson Cattle Co., Silver Line Cattle Co. and Steve Stone! We have retained 5 bred One and Done daughters and more One and Done daughters once again in 2025! We used him on heifers in 2024 and 2025.

No sugar coating here, just plain performance in a good looking, homozygous polled and homozygous black package. Middle, top and eye appeal make for this no nonsense kinda of bull all set to work! He boasts a 731 lb adj weaning weight along with a 1460 lb adjusted yearling...his fertile dam, a first-calf heifer, is DVE Davidson Ms U-betcha 112L!
