BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA CLEAN UP YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA Colleges and even future employers may review your public social media accounts as part of their decision-making process. To make a positive impression, keep your profiles updated, maintain quality in posts, and showcase meaningful achievements. Use a professional email address Avoid negative or rude comments, inappropriate photos, or anything you wouldn’t include in a college application. AVOID SENDING INAPPROPRIATE TEXT MESSAGES THAT SOMEONE COULD SCREENSHOT AND POST Any pictures or texted conversations you send to someone could be shared with others. Don’t assume someone will be trustworthy and keep things confidential.
