Modular 2- and 4-Port Secure KM Switch The Belkin Modular Secure KM Switch is designed for use in defense and intelligence installations requiring consolidated control between computers at different security enclaves. It provides the stringent safeguards required by today’s IA (Information Assurance) computing requirements. The Modular Secure KM enables users to securely switch between 2 or 4 computer sources while simultaneously viewing all computers on different displays. Each source can have up to 4 connected displays, allowing for seamless control over large monitor walls. The Modular SKM securely switches control of keyboard and mouse between all sources via Key Press Seamless Cursor Switching (KPSCS). Instead of using front panel buttons to switch between channels, KPSCS automatically switches mouse and keyboard from one channel to the next once the mouse cursor crosses a display border onto the adjacent display while the correct keyboard key is held down. The Belkin Modular Secure KMs are designed for the latest Common Criteria and NIAP cybersecurity standard, NIAP Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Devices 4.0. As a Secure KM, the Belkin Modular Series is further designed to be compliant to the Keyboard/ Mouse Devices module version 1.0. NIAP PP PSD 4.0
adds to the strict signal isolation requirements of NIAP PP PSS 3.0 and defines the latest standard for militarygrade cybersecurity. Belkin's Modular Secure KMs deliver all NIAP Protection Profile 4.0 certification required criteria in a KM that is slightly larger than a smart phone. With a supplied remote control, the SKM can be easily mounted on the back of the monitor or under a desk to create a uniquely clean and decluttered work environment while enhancing ergonomics and without compromising security requirements. The remote control is recognized as part of the Secure KM per NIAP PP4.0 and can provide the positive feedback operators need to confirm the channel and security enclave he/she is working on.
