By Air: Sheikh-Ul-Alam airport is the nearest airport that is well connected to major cities of India. From Srinagar airport book a cab/taxi which will drop you directly to Daksum valley. The drive is almost two and a half hours to reach Daksum. By Train: If you want to go by train Jammu Tawi Railway station is the main railhead to reach Daksum valley. The train station is well connected to the main cities of India such as Delhi, Chennai, Banglore, etc. It is one of the main railheads in Jammu and Kashmir. From Jammu railway station book a cab or shared cab direct to Srinagar, once reached Srinagar book another cab from Srinagar that will drop you at Daksum. By Road: several UT buses ply the roads of Jammu and Kashmir. Once you reach Jammu and Kashmir you will not face any problems with transportation. From Srinagar to Daksum you have to cross almost 66 kilometers and your drive will take you through Achabal and Kokernag Garden.
