Training the race technicians of the future The Bedford College Group is proud to offer motorsport technician training at our National College for Motorsport based at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, where students are taught by highly-skilled tutors, experienced in many areas of the motorsport industry. We are the first college in the UK to achieve the Motorsport Academy Employer Recognition Scheme Charter Mark for our training for race technicians. The scheme was introduced in 2007 to ensure that training providers deliver quality, industry-relevant training. In January 2018 we were awarded the Motorsport Industry Association ‘Service to Industry Award’ for our exceptional performance in training and guiding young people into Race Technicians apprenticeships. You will be given the opportunity to work at tests and races with the College and our motorsport partners.
