Musical Theatre Showcase Miles Theatre

A range of vocal duos, solos and ensemble repertoire will be performed in the Musical Theatre Showcase in the Miles Theatre. Students of all ages and abilities will be showing their talents. This concert is being curated by our singing teachers, Mr Simonetti and Ms Ramm. All welcome.
Leavers’ & Summer Recital Recital Room

This is a unique and always special occasion as we bid farewell to a number of our senior musicians leaving us at the end of the summer term, after what will have been a two or five year career here at school. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear some of our brilliantly talented musicians for one last time. All welcome!
Bede’s Young Musician of the Year FINAL Recital Room
Tuesday 5 May 7.15pm
The finals of the Bede’s Young Musician of the Year, held in the Recital Room and adjudicated by a panel of professional musicians. This is one of the highly prized musical competitions of the academic year. One lucky winner will be given a £100 gift voucher for two tickets to a concert, festival, or gig, of their choice. All welcome!
Prep Schools’ Choral Morning (Year 4-5) X4
Thursday 21 May 11.15am-12.45pm
A workshop and rehearsal for Year 4 and 5 from students at Bede’s Prep School - a joint venture between the Prep and Senior School departments, with a short run-through and performance at the end of the session. This event is not open to the public.
Auditions for Bede’s Fest Music Rooms 18 - 22 May
If you are a soloist, would like to perform in a duo or trio, or an ensemble of some kind - this is your opportunity to audition for Bede’s Fest in September. This event is not open to the public.
VMT Concert Recital Room Tuesday 9 June 7.15pm
A great opportunity to hear our incredibly talented visiting music teachers, as well as our teaching team, perform a programme of works alongside some of their pupils. Expect a whole range of music and styles; this evening will showcase the incredible expertise of our music staff, many of whom continue to perform around the UK and Europe as freelance professionals. All welcome!
