MASTER PLANNING
Our multi-disciplinary practice allows us to provide comprehensive plans that are strategic and costcertain.
Aligning a master plan with the client’s strategic objectives is our foremost priority. Once those objectives are clearly defined, the Beck team develops a framework that evaluates and proposes a comprehensive vision for existing or future spaces. By analyzing the systems and infrastructure in place, we identify opportunities to maximize operational efficiencies and enable growth in the most fiscally responsible manner. The goal of a master plan is to ensure that our clients possess facilities that not only support their current needs but also enhance their capacity to deliver world-class services and experiences.

ARCHITECTURE
Visionary Design
Some clients call on us to bring their vision to life, others turn to us for creative inspiration. Regardless, our architecture group presents thoughtful designs that not only enhance community landscapes, but also user experiences. Our team ranks among the ENR Top 500 Architecture Firms and elevates the design and function of gathering spaces, healing spaces and working spaces around the world.
Proven Success
Our talents are proven through the accolades we’ve received and iconic projects we completed. Beck Architecture has been named by the Dallas AIA as architecture firm of the year and we served as co-architect of record for the iconic Nasher Sculpture Center with Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano in our hometown of Dallas. Our reputation for design extends to the Caribbean and Asia, where we have completed the SaRang Church and Shinkwang Church in South Korea.
Creativity with Context
We believe spaces should reflect the quality, style and identity of the owners and occupants. We are known for responding to our client’s needs. We take care to consider the context of place and purpose. Whatever the project, design excellence remains our focus.
CONTEXT CLARITY CRAFT
Beck’s approach to experiential design
Design That Performs. Build That Inspires.
In hospitality, design must do more than function—it must spark emotion, elevate experience, and endure. Our architecture performs with purpose: flexible enough to adapt, refined enough to delight, and resilient enough to last. We build what we believe in—and we believe that iconic design and operational excellence are inseparable.
Design is Strategy, Not Sequence.
At The Beck Group, we don’t treat cost, constructability, or performance as afterthoughts. They’re active ingredients from day one. Our integrated model aligns design intent with real-world delivery—ensuring that every bold move on paper is buildable, brand-aligned, and on budget. This mindset is essential for delivering high-performance hospitality environments that balance guest experience with operational success.
From Design Vision to Architectural Reality
We adapt the five pillars of Design Thinking: Empathy. Define. Ideate. Prototype. Test This process is agile, iterative, and grounded in reality.
Set-Based Thinking, Not Single-Path Design.
We resist premature convergence. Instead, we work in sets — exploring multiple options, evaluating them through constructability, cost, and performance lenses. This is how we make decisions at the Last Responsible Moment — when we know more, not less.

INTERIOR DESIGN
More than finishes—our interiors shape experiences, enhance wellbeing, and bring brands to life.
Our Essence. At the heart of our practice, we embrace the art of storytelling, using a narrative to illustrate the journey through tactile, human-scaled spaces. A well-developed interior offers the opportunity for personal connections, creating the backdrops for everyday moments and memories. Our design team believes in efficient and functional space, intuitive wayfinding, and thought-provoking aesthetics that enhance elements of brand immersion, culture, and community.
Our Impact. We are committed to the health, safety, and wellness of the occupants above all else. By prioritizing critical design components including egress, natural light, acoustics, and ergonomics, we are able to enhance user experience and security. We consider the environmental impacts of our selections and how our designs can support physical and emotional wellbeing, regardless of age or ability.
Our Promise. At Beck, we proactively strive for multidisciplinary collaboration, making our interior practice unparalleled when it comes to producing detailed deliverables that protect design intent. Our approach examines holistic solutions for our clients that consider everything from programmatic conceptual ideas to seamless construction actualization. It is our integrated approach that continuously ensures that design excellence remains our focus.
SUSTAINABILITY
Responsive Design
Beck is dedicated to creating high-performing buildings that prioritize human health and wellbeing through a holistic approach to sustainable design. These efforts are led by Natalie Terrill, National Director of Sustainability, who was honored with the LEED Fellow designation recognizing her mastery of LEED and exceptional contributions to advancing green building practices.
PRECONSTRUCTION
Preconstruction is more than cost-estimating to its early engagement for a cost-certain future.
Thanks to evolution in the industry over the last 20 years, owners can engage preconstruction teams much earlier in the design process. We are passionate about offering enhanced preconstruction services because we know the 10x return on investment that additional planning provides during project construction.
Beck preconstruction and construction team members engage in the process to assist the team in establishing an accurate overall project budget and advise on constructibility issues to eliminate impacts to cost and schedule. This allows a greater degree of accurate cost information earlier in the process and affords the opportunity for the team to explore more options and achieve a higher level of design within the established budget.
With innovative technology at the core, we value the foundations of time tested estimating practices, but seek continuous improvement by embracing new technology and more collaborative processes.
Our proprietary Business Intelligence Platform provides a host of preconstruction analytics and insights including historical project cost data and a variety of others to help our teams make informed, data-based decisions.
We leverage leading—edge tools like DESTINI Estimator and AI-supported applications into our daily production environment.
With Integrated Estimating, we have continued building on our legacy as multi-disciplinary, technically savvy pioneers with the next generation in model-based estimating and parametric-based cost estimating workflows.

Historic elegance meets modern luxury at The Candler Hotel, Atlanta’s premier destination for timeless charm.
The Candler Hotel
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Constructed in 1906 by Coca-Cola founder Asa Griggs Candler, the historic Candler Building has been transformed into a luxury hotel that reimagines the Atlanta landmark. The adaptive reuse of the century-old office building required navigating complex challenges, including adhering to the rigorous standards of the State Historic Preservation Office for a structure on the National Register of Historic Places. Because of its steel frame and fireproof flat-arch floor system, the building was a technological marvel of its time. Today, it remains a testament to innovative design.
Our team conducted comprehensive inspections to guide the transformation and captured as-built measurements. We executed a high-resolution laser scan to create an accurate Building Information Model, ensuring a seamless integration of modern functionality within the historic fabric.

At the base, a warm material palette and transparent podium design activate the street edge, inviting pedestrian engagement and retail activity.
Ross & Field is envisioned as a vertical neighborhood—a place where guests, residents, and locals connect within a thoughtfully designed environment that enhances the downtown experience. The result is a contemporary urban landmark rooted in community, context, and craft.

Refined yet eccentric, Stardust balances masculine edge with feminine grace.

BALI, INDONESIA
On an L-shaped site along the famous Sanur Beach that is reowned for its sunrise, the resort’s 30 pool-edged villas were organized around a common swimming pool with a sunken bar at its center to take advantage of the site’s lowest point and widest exposure to the beach. Its 300 guestrooms were housed within two buildings that lined both long edges of its site perimeter, creating a monastic view corridor from an elevated level of the most public and urban end of the resort towards Sanur Beach and Badung Strait beyond. The exterior cladding was crafted from Bali’s white Palimanan stone and teak wood inner lining. The building parti punctured the urban fabric of the area’s vibrant district with a glimpse of the beautiful morning sunrise and the clear blue waters.
