Rifco Legacy

Rifco is proud to be an Australian second generation family run business, located in the heart of Sydney. Founded in 1975 by husband and wife team Alan and Janet Fletcher in a small factory in Marrickville making mirrors and shaving cabinets. They ran the company for a fabulous 26 years before Alan’s sudden passing in 2001 and the Rifco reins were handed over to their three children Luke, Samuel and Kate.

Building on their parents legacy, the Trio dared to expand the Rifco brand whilst ensuring their name became synonymous with quality Australian Made™ products. Market leaders in the industry for their creative designs that have influenced bathroom trends such as round mirror cabinets, timber vanities and curved vanities.

The dream continues today as they strive to create an environmentally sustainable company to one day pass down to their own children.

A company dedicated to using locally sourced material including sustainably sourced certified timber products, E0 (zero emission) board, using reclaimed product packaging, optimised cutting on CNC’s to ensure less waste, reducing our carbon footprint by recycling our cardboard, board and glass processing water. Solar panels are fitted to our factory roof allowing 90% of our electricity to be powered by clean energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Corian® Solid Surface is made from 2/3rds natural minerals (Alumina Trihydrate) and 1/3rd acrylic binder. It is this unique formula that allows Corian® to be completely non-porous, hygienic, seamless and Thermoformable. Our Corian® vanity tops are available in 12mm or 30mm edge thickness, and our integrated tops come in 12mm, 50mm or 100mm edge thickness.

What is Timber veneer?

Timber veneer is a decorative building material comprising thin slices of timber glued onto wooden board, particle board or fibreboard.

Veneer is produced as a thin layer of timber that is uniform in thickness. The veneer is normally between 0.5 and 0.85mm thick in Australia.

Timber veneer is from a natural and renewable resource competing with non-renewable commodities like steel, aluminium and plastics.

Warranty Exclusions

1. Please note that no claims for damages / defects will be recognized after installation. Installation of the product is regarded as acceptance of that product and no claims for faulty or damaged goods can be made after installation.

2. Drawer or door adjustment after installation is not covered under warranty.

3.The liability of the warranty and guarantee is limited to a replacement cabinet or part thereof of similar value and does not include any service costs or related damage.

4. This guarantee does not cover damage by improper installation, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, excessive wear and tear, improper care and maintenance, water and natural causes such as sunlight, humidity and other environmental conditions.

5. Water Damage.

All of our cabinets are manufactured from Australian Made HMR (highly moisture resistant) board but are not waterproof. Care must be taken to immediately dry any spillage or leakage of water that may gain access to the cabinet as water damage is not a justifiable claim. Installation, cleaning and maintenance instructions need to be followed.

Rifco guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship, provided that the installation is carried out according to the installation instructions. (Detailed instructions are supplied with the goods). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. The fault or failure lies in the manufacture of the product

2. The product must be installed by a licensed installer

3. The product must be installed according the Installation Instructions provided

4. The product must be cared for according to the Care Instructions provided

5. You can provide your proof of purchase details

6. Any claim for faulty or damaged goods must be made within 48 hours from receipt of product.

To Make a Claim

Should you find any fault with either materials or workmanship within its warranty period, Rifco will at its own cost, repair or, at its option, supply a replacement for the faulty product or component.
