MBTI: My Best Traits and Insights _____________________________

JIYOON CHOI EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

I

have taken many personality tests over the years, from the 16Personalities test to “What ’Station Eleven’ character are you,” scrolling through “free personality tests” websites and uQuiz for more. These personality tests are mainly for fun, and to compare results with my friends and laugh at memes. I also learned some fun facts about myself that I didn’t even know about. For example, did you know that ESTJs are the “most fun people to crack witty and sarcastic jokes” with (according to a very credible Reddit post)? Since freshman year, my unofficial MBTI (Myers–Briggs Type Indicator), ESTJ, has not changed — only the individual percentages have. For example, I went from 90% judging to 76%. The most dramatic change occurred senior year. If I were to decorate a duck to represent myself each year of high school, the final visual of the freshman year and senior

year duck would be noticeably different. My senior duck (found on page 9) reflects both my current interests and encapsulates my entire high school career with a chainsaw growing on the head and plant on the back. On the other hand, my freshman duck would have a mask on with minimal details as I was embarrassed to share my interests with others. SEE PERSONALITY • PAGE 9
