anny Agajanian plays a mix of bluegrass, ragtime and Civil Warera music. Once a warm-up artist for Billy Graham, he has toured with many performers and has played in many venues across the U.S. and Canada, including churches, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, the Golden Nugget, the Grand Ole Opry and more. He has lived in Grand Junction for over 20 years.

usic has always been a part of Paula Dunfee’s life. She has entertained at venues from Las Vegas and Arizona to Colorado. She loves to entertain and enjoys touching people’s hearts through music. She especially enjoys playing for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, as she believes that music is the only universal language. She is in tune and interactive with her audience, and her music is versatile, including everything from Broadway tunes and ragtime to modern music.

ike Gwinn is a Paonia-based solo guitarist and singer-songwriter. He plays American Jazz Songbook standards as well as contemporary blues and pop. He has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe and with his band, The North Fork Flyers, at the Telluride Jazz Festival, Wright Opera House, Ride the Rockies, Mountain Harvest Festival, Palisade Wine Festival and other venues throughout Western Colorado.

quipped with his trusty guitar, Ron Koss is dynamic. Whether he’s entertaining with Americana rock favorites, country melodies or swing tunes, just about anything he plays has audiences singing along. He has played music professionally for over 30 years. He is BeaconFest’s sound manager and has performed at numerous events across the Grand Valley for over a decade.

Presented by Stacy Clark and Nathan Shackelford, Volunteers of America 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Individuals, caregivers and families have numerous resources available when engaging in lifestyle design. Understanding the different lenses through which we live our lives allows us the capacity for insight, expansion and richness despite our place in life. Understanding mortality with deeper clarity, planning for this process, and developing a capacity to surround ourselves with the right community resources, empowers individuals, caregivers and families with tools in which they can anticipate bumps along the road and design a life of their choosing. This presentation will educate participants on developing interdisciplinary approaches to wholeness, and discussing ways in which an interdisciplinary approach to wellness increases both quantity and quality of life.

This introduction to Medicare will answer questions for those who are new to Medicare and those who are thinking about changing supplement and Part D providers.
