Unless you live under a rock, you probably know about the anti-mayor petition returning Pueblo back to a City Manager form of government. It’s now a big doo-doo show related to malpractice on the city’s part. In a recent Colorado Public Radio (CPR) interview, Gradisar said “petitioners were sloppy and incompetent.” Gradisar forced Kogosvek to retire, (fired) for malpractice and incompetency. In reality, Kogosvek planned to retire in the spring, and simply took one for the team. Stoller, in the same CPR interview said she was “not a person accustomed to mistakes.” The arrogance in that statement means trouble. The city clerk Marissa Stoller was hired by Gradisar with zero clerk experience and no posting for the job. This is now causing legal problems for the city. Stoller is the wife of the State Fair manager, hired by Polis’s board. Stoller was given a position with Pueblo County in economic development around the same time that her husband arrived along with a recommendation from Commissioner Wiseman, the former state fair manager. Stoller lasted 2 years. It is rumored that she was unhappy related to her professional career situation. Unhappy wife, unhappy life. Forcing Polis to recruit yet another fair manager. For a person who believes they are not accustomed to mistakes, there were numerous mistakes other than the number of signatures provided more than once. This was a 10-month process.
