T

he Craftsman Heights neighborhood of Pasadena recently completed phase two of its journey towards achieving landmark district designation. According to staff’s report, Craftsman Heights, a predominantly single-family home neighborhood, is bounded by Los Robles Avenue to the west, El Molino Avenue to the east, Prescott Street to the north, and Eldora Road to south. Sierra Madre Police Officers responded to Bailey Canyon parking lot at about 3:15 p.m. last Wednesday for a burglary of a vehicle investigation. An unknown suspect attempted to pry open the front passenger side window causing the window to shatter. The suspect reached inside the vehicle and took a bag containing a Chase Debit card, CA identification card, two school ID cards, headphones and a watch. The officers handed the case to detectives in Sierra Madre. In recent months there have been numerous such incidents. Police warn everyone to lock their vehicles and place valuables where they cannot be seen.
