OPTIONS FOR LEARNING High quality early learning and school age programs throughout the San Gabriel Valley In the Pasadena area, Options for Learning has 11 preschool locations for ages 3 – 5 years old. Full-day Preschool and Head Start both offer a kindergarten-readiness program, with extensive family support, that is free, low cost or full-cost for qualifying families. The “Cream of the Crop” Training Program This high school/junior high development program was put together by the coaching staff of the Play Smarter Basketball youth training classes in the San Gabriel Valley, at San Gabriel Academy in San Gabriel Calif. each Sunday from noon until 2 p.m. This is a higher level development training program for the more serious boy or girls, wanting to advance their personal skills, knowledge and having the opportunity of playing at a possibly higher level, now and in the future. ACTION ARTS MOVEMENT LAB Summer Broadway Workshop This famous Broadway Workshop is a week-long intensive from June 24 – 30, featuring the choreography and music of the most historic Broadway show of them all. The workshop is split into two groups: one for ages 5-10 with class from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and one for ages 11 and older with class from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This deep-dive is led by Broadway musical artist Selena Moshell, who toured with the company for over eight years. The curriculum focuses on: dance, singing, and performance training for aspiring musical theater artists in

Pasadena and culminates in a performance in the Action Arts Black Box Theater featuring the workshop participants. The master classes though out the week are designed to challenge, engage, and inspire the students, giving them more tools for their artistry and a deeper understanding of what it takes to learn, rehearse, and perform in a Broadway show. CSArts Academy offers a fun and rewarding opportunity for young artists ages 8-16 to explore and develop their artistic talents. With opportunities for full-day and half-day (morning and afternoon) sessions, students can fill their days with learning acting, animation, dance, guitar, musical theatre, photography, visual arts, vocal arts and more! PASADENA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION’S SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

In its 16th year the Pasadena Educational Foundation’s Summer Enrichment Program offers fun and engaging classes taught by experienced educators. Classes are offered in four languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin and French) to support immersion programs with over 125 classes to choose from. Some favorite classes include cooking, table tennis, art studio, 3D printing, robotics and so

much more. They partner with community organizations to offer unique classes such as: music recording and technology, caregiver know-how, Audubon adventures, yoga, musical theatre, and more. High school students can choose a class, get valuable experience and earn service hours as a volunteer, or both. They truly have something for every student from PreK – 12th grade.

ARCADIA SPECIALTY CAMPS At Arcadia Specialty Camps, there is something for everyone. Arcadia Specialty Camps feature a variety of week-long, themed programs ranging from STEM to skateboarding for children between the ages of 4-15. Create runway fashions, improve your tennis skills, or even design a video game! ELEMENTS DANCE SPACE Come dance this summer at Elements Dance Space (EDS). EDS is offering two full weeks of dance camp from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 6 to teen, beginners to advanced level dancers. June 24 through June 28 is urban dance camp offering classes in: urban choreography, popping, locking, breaking, and more. Also during this week, they will also offer advanced level classes in: contemporary,

ballet, urban choreo and more. July 22 through July 26 is the all styles dance camp offering classes in: jazz, ballet, urban choreo, and more. SUMMER AT STRATFORD Stratford infuses its STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) curriculum into an innovative and enriching summer camp experience. Younger campers learn, explore, and engage in hands-on learning projects, while elementary-age students collaborate to tackle real-world problems by utilizing academic principles and concepts in a fun and engaging way. BRIT WEST SOCCER CAMPS Brit West Soccer Camps are designed to develop each player’s ball skills and techniques. Each day includes individual foot skills, agility, technical practice, and small sided soccer games. Their mini world cup introduces players to soccer cultures around the world.
