Stabbing in Baldwin Park Kills Man and Woman

Busted: Riverside Duo Delivers Drugs via Drone

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives responded to the 4200 block of Center Street in Baldwin Park, to assist Baldwin Park Police Department personnel investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a female, Asian adult and a male, Asian adult. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday. The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time. According to KTLA, a man and a woman accused of using a drone to deliver drugs to customers have been arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances and child endangerment in Riverside.

Officers were called to the house in the 1300 block of North Vine Avenue around 4:35 p.m. on Dec. 25, according to a statement from the Ontario Police Department. Erick James Bolin, 28, allegedly told police dispatchers he accidentally shot his mother. Officers who responded to the home took him into custody without incident, police said. The victim, whose name was not yet being released, was found inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene.

Gang Informant in Orange County Sentenced to 17 Years in Prison An Orange County gang informant was sentenced to 17 years in state prison for the attempted murder of a rival gang member in 2005. The defendant's informant work and testimony led to the federal and state convictions of 79 criminal street gang members affiliated with the Mexican Mafia, a notorious Hispanic prison gang infamous for their violence and criminal enterprise, and resulted in dozens of prison sentences totaling 293 years. All of these cases involved

complex and difficult to prove gang crimes and many would not have been able to be successfully prosecuted without Moriel's cooperation and testimony.
