Mike Ingram, Air Operations for Pasadena Police Department, arranged for Vector Control specialist 1, Leslie Conner to fly around the Valley in search of more pools that may be contributing to mosquito population and thus increasing the chance West Nile Virus. The City maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy for fireworks. Violators are subject to arrest; impound of vehicles; up to one year in jail and fines up to $50,000. Citizens who attended Monday night’s special meeting of the Pasadena City Council witnessed four candidates from Pasadena’s District 7 interview for the seat that Terry Tornek vacated upon winning the middle chair of the council dais. Each candidate delivered a six-minute personal statement before answering a series of questions posed by the mayor and council.
