“Heroes in the Shadows”
Five Day Veterans Job Fair Honors the Fallen and Provides Services for the Living With the close of Memorial Day events, one continues with a weeklong event dedicated to honoring the fallen while serving the living. Presented by The Vet Hunters Project, in conjunction with the City of Pomona, the fourth annual “Heroes in the Shadows” San Gabriel Valley Homeless Stand Down kicked off yesterday with more than 400 attendees. The five day event runs through Friday May 29 at the Pomona National Guard Armory located at 600 South Park Avenue in Pomona. On Wednesday, May 27, the event featured a veteran job fair presented by the Employment Development Department. $265 Million State-of-the-Art Operations Goldline Campus Opens
The Live Oak Memorial Park and Mortuary partnered with the Allied Veterans Council of the Upper San Gabriel Valley in hosting the annual Memorial Day ceremony Monday at Live Oak Memorial Park. Family Festival Productions May Be Moving to Arcadia

The event was attended by elected officials at all levels of government, transportation officials and hundreds of community members.
