Man Posing as a Cop Shoots Gun Inside Altadena Bar A man is accused of making threats and firing a gun into the ceiling of an Altadena bar Saturday night according to reports. Deputies arrested Freddy Flores, 51, on suspicion of making criminal threats, negligent discharge of a firearm and drunken driving following the shooting, which took place just before midnight Saturday at the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 Fair Oaks Avenue, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials and booking records. Flores is known to frequent the local bars in Altadena, particularly Altadena Ale House. Flores made threats and pulled out a revolver, firing three shots into the ceiling. Huntington Nurses Quarrel over Possible Union Contract “CNA - NO WAY!” was the repeated chant while officials and nurses from California Nurses Association attempted to speak at a press conference called by the CNA last Thursday morning. Scores of nurses, community leaders and union officials quarreled outside Huntington Memorial Hospital Thursday over the 10-month attempt to get nurses at Huntington to vote on unionizing. Schiff ‘deeply skeptical that an agreement will be reached’ with Iran and Israel “This morning, Prime Minister Netanyahu laid out the concerns held by many Israelis about a possible agreement with Iran over its nuclear program. Given the behavior of the Iranian regime and its threats to wipe Israel off the map, these concerns deserve our serious consideration.
