Another highlight of the ceremony will be a demonstration by Jeff Chan, of the Immortals, who is providing the Dragon and other artifacts that will be on display. This is a part of the celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year; the display is scheduled to be up through the end of January.

This case actually opened up for detectives approximately three weeks ago when a storage unit in the city of Palmdale was burglarized, resulting in the theft of four guns. Using departmental resources and training, Palmdale Detectives developed information which resulted in today’s search warrant. Deputies recovered several reported stolen guns

and discovered an underground bunker which included a 25 yard shooting range in an “out building” behind the primary location. DNA leads to arrest for 2012 brutal rape of Rowland Heights woman A suspect is in custody for the sexual assault of a 29-year old woman in her home on October 27, 2012. The violent crime occurred on a Saturday at 6:00AM when the victim was awakened in her apartment on the 1500 block of Jellick Avenue in Rowland Heights by an unknown Hispanic man who brutally beat and raped her. Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station deputies were notified and Special Victims Bureau investigators of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department immediately began an investigation. It included DNA analysis by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Crime Lab (Scientific Services Bureau). Sheriff's Special Victims Bureau investigators

received a break in the case due to recently entered suspect DNA resulting in a hit from the FBI Combined DNA Index (CODIS) System.
