Forcing the evacuation of an entire school, a chemical spill at UEI College was reported at a trade school with a location in Anaheim, on Tuesday, November 18. Shortly after students at the college claimed to be suffering from eye irritation and nausea, administrators called the Anaheim Fire Department at 10:30 a.m. Authorities made their way to UEI College, located near CalKarcher Way and Homer Street, Anaheim Police Liuetenant Bob Dunn told reporters. Apparently, a chemical was accidentally spilled, one which is used as a cleaning agent and handled in dental hygiene classes, causing the physical reactions in students, said the Orange County Register. The chemical was cleaned up the previous night, on Monday, by students and staff members, added the paper; however, students attending classes the following day on Tuesday experienced symptoms related to the spill. Five students were taken to local hospitals to get checked out, said Dunn. He added that none of the injuries are considered life-threatening. The Register added that the fire department hazardous materials unit did not register any readings of life-threatening hazards where the spill occurred, Dunn told reporters. The spill happened in a second-floor school room. Approximately 100 people, including some staff and students who must wear light-blue scrubs

November 2014 election results certified by Orange County Registrar Of Voters Orange County Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley has certified the official results of the November General Election held on November 4, 2014, which included re-electing Mayor Tom Tait, reelecting Council Member Kris Murray, as well as electing Council Member Elect James Vanderbilt in the City of Anaheim.
