Rushville Christian Church Hosts Annual Trunk-or-Treat By: Laci Burnett

On Halloween night, October 31st, Rushville Christian Church hosted its annual Trunk-or-Treat for all ages. There was a mix of spooky trunks, haunted games, face painting, and lots of yummy food. Many Rushville and DeKalb students attended, and Eighth Grader Noa Danese believes that it was “great” and “very decorated.” Plus, there was plenty of candy to go around, and everyone claimed to get a good amount. With all the fun festivities occurring, kids still missed the infamous haunted house run by Andrew Johnson. Eighth Grader Keiffer Solomon said, “They had games and the usual church stuff from previous years; I feel like the worst part was that Andrew wasn’t running the haunted house.” Even though the Halloween festivities are over, there is still plenty more to celebrate at the Rushville Christian Church, with the youth group every Sunday from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. There will also be the annual Princess Banquet on the evening of November 22nd, so be sure to show up and show out.
