FUN PLACES IN DALLAS Dallas has a lot of fun and educational places typically, educators might have chosen Dallas for field trips. Many popular destinations are the Perot Museum of Science, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Dallas Zoo.

DALLAS ARBORETUM AND BOTANICAL GARDEN: The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is a wonderful destination near White Rock Lake, where kids enjoy the beauty of nature. The Arboretum has several gardens, including a kid’s Adventure Garden with a playground, and a discovery lab, School programs can be organized in the children’s garden and they can cover topics like plants and animal life cycles, wildlife, and how fruits and vegetables are grown. The Arboretum’s educational program is best for students in the 3rd to 6th grades. The Arboretum’s Tour Bus Rental parking is free and will be designated when your trip is confirmed.

FOSSIL RIM WILDLIFE CENTER: Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is located in Glen Rose about an hour’s drive from Dallas. The safaristyle drive is full of enjoyment; guests can interact with animals like giraffes and rhinos. Private guide options are also available by reservation for groups, and enjoy a safari tram with a personal tour guide. Fossil Wildlife Center has many more programs including hikes, animal talks, and science experiments for kids. All visitor groups reserve their visit in advance, and face masks are required for all visitors when outside of a Tour Bus Rental.
