It’s amazing to have a university right here in the heart of Burnley.

I completed my Level 3 course and GCSEs all while being a busy mum, supporting my family.

The tutors are amazing - they give you all the support you need. I’ve been a teaching assistant for 13 years and my ultimate aspiration is to be a primary school or SEND teacher. It seems like a natural progression for me.

PAMELA SLACK, 42, Burnley Foundation Degree in Children, Young People and their Services. BA (Hons) Top up Professional Practice.
