heatre 29 and Director Scott Clinkscales are holding open auditions for an online presentation of âSongs for a New Worldâ through January 31. This will be Clinkscalesâ second time directing for Theatre 29 having recently directed the smash hit musical comedy âSister Actâ in early 2020. Clinkscales is no stranger to adapting theatre during these times, having recently helped put together the âHome Editionâ and âHome for the Holidaysâ virtual concerts for Theatre 29 with âSongs for a New Worldâ assistant director Lisa Goldberg. âSongs for a New Worldâ is a contemporary song cycle that weaves characters and history together, illuminating the timelessness of self-discovery.
