One hates to toot one’s own horn, but seriously, I really love our magazine covers! This month’s cover is a work of art by the Kuwait-based talented artist Nada Dalloul. Our October issue cover arrives as a celebration of Bibi Salem Al Sabah’s latest book The ABCs of Kuwait, a delightful book for kids and adults alike that highlights a Kuwaiti cultural or heritage icon for every letter of the Alphabet. You can read all about the book in this issue’s Truth or Dare and learn why Bibi decided to create it.
Each issue has a life of its own and this issue turned out to be centered around change, it features many of Kuwait’s movers and shakers. We also feature the Body Shop’s Changing Beauty event which showed us how the industry can be a catalyst for moving forward more sustainably, and the huge transformation that has happened to Blajat making it the hottest location in town right now.
