Building the Future, Together Dear Bayview Glen Community, As we reflect on the 2024–2025 school year, we are proud of all that our students, faculty, staff, families, alumni, and supporters have accomplished together. This year marked a significant milestone for Bayview Glen with the launch of our five-year strategic plan, BE BOLD. Developed through extensive consultation across our community, the plan affirms our vision to be the leader in bold thinking and future readiness within a diverse community, while reinforcing our mission of Whole Child. Purposeful Life. Better World. Throughout the year, we began bringing this vision to life. Students achieved remarkable success in academics, athletics, the arts, and leadership. Our faculty continued to create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, nurture resilience, and challenge students to think critically about the world around them. Across both campuses, there was a strong sense of optimism and purpose as we embraced new opportunities for growth and innovation.
At Bayview Glen, success is measured not only by achievement, but also by the character and values our students develop along the way. Guided by Compassion, Curiosity, and Courage, they are learning to become thoughtful leaders, engaged citizens, and positive contributors to their communities. This report celebrates the many accomplishments of the past year and the people who make them possible. We are deeply grateful to our families, alumni, volunteers, donors, faculty, staff, and trustees whose commitment strengthens our School and helps ensure a vibrant future for generations of students to come. As we look ahead, we do so with confidence and excitement. The launch of BE BOLD has provided a clear direction for the future, and we are energized by the opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we will continue to build on our strengths, embrace innovation, and prepare students to lead purposeful lives and make a meaningful impact on the world. Governance and Leadership Tracey Wong
Chair of the Board Tracey Wong is Vice President, Consultant Relations at Fidelity Canada Institutional and a member of Fidelity's global consultant relations leadership team. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, she brings expertise in strategy, governance, and organizational leadership. As a Bayview Glen parent, she is committed to advancing the School's mission and long-term success.
Dan D'Alessandro Vice Chair of the Board Dan D'Alessandro spent 32 years with Kraft Foods, holding senior leadership positions in marketing and business strategy across Canada and internationally. He brings extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership, informed by his service on corporate and non-profit boards. He is also a proud Bayview Glen parent.
Eric Borromeo
Eric Borromeo brings more than 30 years of experience in banking, finance, and public accountancy, including senior leadership roles with Wells Fargo, Scotiabank, and BNP Paribas. His expertise in financial oversight and risk management supports the Board's stewardship responsibilities. He is also an active mentor, coach, and referee with FIRST Robotics.
Christine Cruz-Clarke ’98
Christine Cruz-Clarke is a Global Marketing Executive with Kraft Heinz and former Chief Executive Officer of Balzac's Coffee. Her career spans leadership roles across consumer goods, consulting, and sustainability in Canada and abroad. As both a Bayview Glen alumna and parent, she brings a strong commitment to innovation, inclusion, and community.
Jeremy Edwards
Dr. Jeremy Edwards is a cardiologist, educator, and clinical leader at St. Michael's Hospital and the University of Toronto. His experience in healthcare, academic leadership, and curriculum development provides valuable perspective to the Board. As a Bayview Glen parent and active community volunteer, he is dedicated to supporting student growth and wellbeing.
Jennifer Fiddian-Green
Jennifer Fiddian-Green leads Doane Grant Thornton's Forensic Advisory practice and is recognized for her expertise in governance, ethics, compliance, and risk management. She has dedicated her career to helping organizations strengthen accountability and integrity. As a Bayview Glen parent, she is committed to supporting the School's continued success.

Jason Fung
Dr. Jason Fung is a physician, entrepreneur, and New York Times bestselling author with more than two decades of experience in healthcare. In addition to his clinical work as a nephrologist, he has founded businesses, led educational initiatives, and published internationally recognized research and books, bringing a unique perspective to Board discussions.
Paul Mand ’92
Paul Mand is Managing Partner of a Toronto-based litigation firm with extensive experience in commercial litigation, real estate, and construction law. A Bayview Glen alumnus and parent, he contributes valuable legal expertise and strategic insight to the Board. His longstanding connection to the School reflects a deep commitment to its future.
Vineeta Nathan
Vineeta Nathan is an academic leader at York University's School of Continuing Studies with more than 20 years of experience across K–12 and postsecondary education. She brings expertise in educational innovation, strategic planning, curriculum development, and change management. Her work is guided by a commitment to excellence, equity, and student success.
Lisa Reikman
Lisa Reikman is Senior Vice President, Business Banking at TD Bank Group and has held numerous executive leadership positions throughout her banking career. She brings extensive expertise in finance, risk management, and corporate governance. A longtime volunteer and community advocate, she is passionate about supporting education and philanthropy.
Frederick Strahle
Frederick Strahle is President and Co-Founder of DesTech, an IT services company specializing in technology solutions, professional services, and education. With more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience, he brings expertise in innovation, operations, and business strategy. He is also a longstanding member of the Bayview Glen community.

A Legacy of Learning Thank you to the Class of 2025, who collectively raised a remarkable total of $46,329 as a leaving gift to Bayview Glen with 18% family participation. The transformation of the Upper School Learning Centre is now underway, bringing to life a modern, flexible space designed to support both smallgroup collaboration and focused independent work. This initiative reflects Bayview Glen's commitment to Propelling Academic Excellence and Innovation by creating an environment that adapts to the evolving needs of our students. It also speaks to Ensuring Sustained Growth for the Benefit of Multiple Generations, as this revitalized space will continue to enhance the student experience for years to come. Building What's Next In June 2026, Bayview Glen will reach an exciting milestone as we take occupancy of the new Lower School Expansion and Wellness Complex, home to our Indoor Aquatics Facility and the Parent Association Lower School Gymnasium. Representing nearly 24,000 square feet of new learning and wellness space, this transformative project reflects a significant investment in our students and in the future of the School. Designed to support the development of the whole child, these new facilities will expand opportunities for movement, physical literacy, exploration, and connection within the Lower School community.
More than new spaces, the Indoor Aquatics Facility and Parent Association Lower School Gymnasium will provide environments where students can build confidence, develop healthy habits, and experience the joy of learning through physical activity. These spaces have been thoughtfully designed to promote wellbeing, nurture imagination, and strengthen the sense of belonging that defines Bayview Glen.
