Residents gathered at the InnovationPlex on July 1 as the City of North Battleford hosted another successful Canada Day celebration. The rain held off throughout the day, allowing people to take part in the indoor and outdoor activities. The day began with live music from Munro & Patrick and the Soul Sensations, featuring Heidi Munro, Scott Patrick and local musician Kurtis Kopp on drums. NORTH BATTLEFORD — Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish on 105th Street in North Battleford was one of the churches vandalized in a recent incident. On June 30, two churches on 108th Street and one church on 105th Street each had one of their doors spray painted by vandals. Battlefords RCMP are investigating and looking for the suspect(s).
