THE BATTLEFORDS, Sask. — The Battlefords and District Chamber of Commerce has a new chief operating officer. Gregory Kwong has joined the chamber in the role effective Aug. 17. Longtime chief operating officer Linda Machniak has retired and is currently serving as the senior adviser during the transition. “Please join me in welcoming Gregory Kwong to the Battlefords and District Chamber of Commerce,” board chair Ashlee Babiy said in the release. “Greg brings valuable professional experience and strong ties to the community, along with a genuine commitment to supporting local business and building meaningful connections.
