BHANOT NAME INSPIRATION Neerja Bhanot was a true hero. She was a flight attendant on Pan Am Flight 73 in 1986, where she saved hundreds of lives during a terrorist hijacking by hiding American passengers' passports and ultimately sacrificing her own life while shielding children from gunfire, earning her India's highest peacetime bravery award, the Ashoka Chakra.
