Dear Flyer, Welcome to the National Lofts Sale in Sydney 2009, Numerous flyers in the Federation have enjoyed success with the blood lines obtained from our stud, flyers such as P & J Stig, M.Jeffrey, M.Koulouris, C.Kennedy & Son, Hawa Bros, R.Butler, R.Townsend, Sultana Bros, T.Wills, A.Caruana, R.Coy and many, many more.Since our inception as a breeding complex we have obtained at great costs pigeons that have come from household names with the European pigeon sport, we have in many cases steared away from the commercial names that most other studs in Australia have stocked and in many cases National Lofts have been the first to import bloodlines and other studs have followed. We have in the sale pigeons covering most of the families housed, some are new families that will in future years become well known in Australia whilst others are well known and have been winning here for some time. We are offering some of our remaining Jos Soontjens and Rene DeMan pigeons that after 2009 will not be available from us as we will move them on to make room for our newer imported lines. The families in the sale comprise :Jos Soontjens – Off the imports as well as grand children of our original imports Rene DeMan – Grandchildren of our original imports Herbots – Children of our remaining imports, these may be the last available as several are either finished or struggled in the 2008 breeding season. Koopmans – Direct from the imports, these have been what I consider to be the BEST imports that I have ever had. They started winning Federation races from the very first race season and continue to win at the highest level everywhere they have gone. Dirk Van Dyck ( Kannibaal ) – We purchased 13 pigeons bred in the loft of Dirk Van Dyck with the Crown Jewels being a direct daughter of the world famous “ Kannibaal “ as well as a son and daughter of his sensational brother the “Bourges”. We also purchased a cousin of the Kannibaal and Bourges as well as a son of there best producing sister along with several grandchildren. Already numerous Federation prizes have been reported in 2009 from the limited number of children that have been sold. Gommaire Verbruggen – Several Older “Producing” breeders bred by Gommaire, we purchased these at great cost including the sire of 7th National Ace pigeon of Germany, a hen that bred more than 70 prizes and a cock that bred more than 50 prizes. Already a CCF Federation winner reported from stock we supplied.
Gaby Vandenabeele – We purchased our stock from several sources and only from those that had severly tested them racing at the highest level. Three of the lofts had purchased large numbers from Gaby and culled severely regardless of cost or pedigree. We have obtained almost all of the lines within the Vandenabeele family and can offer the broadest family of Vandenabeeles in Australia including the blue and dark checkers that have a preference for the harder races. Beverdam Janssens- We purchased 12 imports from the Beverdam Sales conducted in Australia several years ago, some years we have not bred from them but when we raced some direct of the imports we had success straight away up to 8th Fed VHA 884klm. As Chipollini- We got offered this superb pigeon as part of a complete package and had to buy out the flyers whole loft to get him, “As Chipollini” as well as being his best racer was also his best breeder and bred numerous winners and more than 300 prizewinners. We kept the full sister “ Blue Princess” which was also the best stock hen, the flyer only kept 30 pigeons in total and most being brothers/ sisters of the “As” or children of them paired together.The “As” raced in the same club as Staf Van Reet and battled it out with Staf’s famous “Blauwe Witpen” ( 3rd National Ace of Belgium – Sprint ) on a weekly basis in a club of 60 members. Only one youngster have I raced from “As” when paired to his sister “Blue Princess”, this was a late youngster weaned in July after pre race tossing had commenced but this cock went on to fly 884klm even though he had not moulted a flight or done a body moult. He was my 3rd pigeon to the loft and was in time for 27th or 28th VHA Federation. A son of the “As” sold for $4000 in Belgium earlier this year ( Kamikaze) and a grandson sold for $4600.
