Bull Information
All bulls will be scrotal measured prior to the sale and a sale weight will be provided.
Terms and Conditions
Terms of the sale are cash or cheque unless satisfactory arrangements have been made between the buyer an the seller prior to the sale. All bulls will sell under the standard Terms & Conditions of the Canadian Gelbvieh Association. Any announcements from the block will take precedence over the information printed in the catalog.
Delivery & Board
Following the sale, the bulls will remain at the Thackeray Farm until completion of breeding soundess evaluations. These should be completed sometime mid-March (weather permitting) and once cpmpleted, delivery of the bulls will begin. All bulls are free to stay at the Thackeray Farm until delivery.
As good stewards, we will do our best to ensure the bulls are kept in a safe and healthy environment prior to delivery, however, we do recommend insurring your new bull purchase. We do ask that you work with us to coordinate the delivery of your new bull.
This is a video sale. Bulls can be viewed at the Thackeray Farm prior to the sale. The sale will be held at the Goodwater Hall, east of the Thackeray Farm at 1:00 p.m.
Red & Black Open Replacement Commercial Heifers on Offer
This year due to the interest we have received for the open replacement heifers we will be ofering a larger group this year. These heifers come from the heart of our herd and are selected for concistency and quality. Heifers will all be palpated by our vet and they are on the Bovishield Gold program. There will be both red and black packages on ofer. Come have a look at these good females. There will be seven groups of three on ofer.

Welcome to the 2026 Thackeray Land and Cattle bull and commercial heifer sale.
The cattle market has shown us that our product has great value and we feel that this will continue to be the trend for the next number of years. So now is the time to invest in that future!
The bull battery that services your cow herd is more important than ever, we all need bulls that will get cows bred and put live vigorous calves on the ground. The added beneft of the Gelbvieh bull is that once they hit the ground the growth and performance will add extra dollars to the crop in the fall.
We invite you to come view the bulls they are a strong functional group this year with several sire groups and some that will fll any needs you have. The power bulls have lots of bone middle and muscle the heifer bulls are smooth made and their are a couple that may be that dual purpose bull you are looking for!
The commercial heifers are similar to other years coming right of the top of our pen we will sell them in groups of three.
