GUARANTEES

Our lifetime guarantee covers our furniture against faulty materials or manufacturing defects. This is offered provided our products have been installed and maintained in accordance with our installation and product care instructions. All products should be fitted in accordance with local by-laws and in line with good plumbing practice. Any electrical products should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Our lifetime guarantee excludes sanitaryware, handles, taps, mirrors, lights or any electrical or moving components. It does not cover normal wear and tear, which naturally and inevitably occurs during normal use.

The guarantee, which applies to the UK only, is limited to domestic use of the products and to the original homeowner. The guarantee is non-transferable between homeowners.

When installing any timber products in a bathroom environment it is important to provide adequate ventilation (such as an extractor fan). This prevents the build-up of condensation, which may be harmful to your product.

It is important that a waterproof sealant is used on all cut or raw edges and particular attention should be given to areas around the basin and bath. Failure to comply with these recommendations may invalidate your guarantee.

In the unlikely event that the product fails within the stated guarantee period, we will offer a replacement or replacement parts (or nearest equivalent). Liability is limited to individual products and does not cover consequential loss, damages or further installation costs involved. Any guarantee claims should be made in writing to the Customer Service Department enclosing a copy of the original invoice.

GUIDELINES FOR CARE & MAINTENANCE

FURNITURE & MIRRORS

Wipe up spills and condensation immediately with a clean cloth. We recommend that furniture be cleaned with a damp cloth, and then dried. Avoid using cleaners or polishes that contain abrasives, solvents, acid, or ammonia.

BRASSWARE

CAST MINERAL BASINS

Clean with a damp cloth, water and soap or very mild detergent, rinse, and polish with a soft cloth. Avoid using cleaners that contain abrasives, solvents, acid, or ammonia. Do not use caustic soda or bleaches. Full care instructions are included with the washbasin.

Chrome, Black and Brushed Brass finishes should be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth, rinsed, and then dried immediately. They should then be buffed with a dry, clean, soft cloth. Due to the nature of different materials used in the production of basin and bath shower mixers, there maybe slight variation between components. On no account should any bathroom cleaner be used as these contain chemicals that are corrosive to brushed surfaces.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

FURNITURE

All timber finishes are wood effects. Although great care is taken in choosing matching finishes there may be some variation due to the different materials, suppliers, batches, and manufacturing processes used. The apparent colour of finishes may also vary under different lighting conditions, especially under artificial light.

TOLERANCE/PRODUCT DIMENSIONS

Due to the nature of materials and production processes the dimensions may vary within a tolerance of +/-2mm on furniture, +/- 2% on cast mineral basins, +/-5% on ceramic products. Cast basins are designed and guaranteed to be used with hot water up to a maximum temperature of 65ºC. This temperature must not be exceeded. The surfaces of ceramic products may contain imperfections. Sanitaryware may carry branding from relevant manufacturers.

INSTALLATION

It is important that a waterproof sealant is used on cut or raw edges and particular attention should be given to areas around the basin and bath.

COLOUR REPRODUCTION

Colour reproduction is as accurate as possible within the limitations of the printing process. Also note colours will vary under artificial light.

ALTERATIONS TO MATERIALS & SPECIFICATIONS

The BeModern© Group policy is one of continual improvement and development, we therefore reserve the right to alter materials and specifications without notice.

DELIVERY

The team at BeModern© takes pride in what we do and the services we provide. We aim to deliver 90% of our own manufactured products directly to retailers using our BeModern©-trained delivery team, ensuring first-time and ontime deliveries (subject to stock availability).

BeModern© goes the extra mile when it comes to service, which is why we are improving our service levels and communication from February 2025. On the day you place an order with BeModern©, you will receive an order acknowledgement, providing peace of mind that your order has been correctly received. Your order will then be scheduled for despatch, after which you will receive a second confirmation detailing the delivery date (usually within 48–72 hours of receipt of your order). Finally, upon despatch, you will receive a third confirmation notifying you that the goods have left our warehouse.

All the above, including delivery, will occur within 3–5 working days following receipt of your original order. This applies to all Atlanta-branded products (subject to stock availability).

If you require urgent items, we offer a 48-hour carrier service (72 hours for selected postcodes) for selected items, subject to stock availability. DAMAGES & RETURNS

All products should be inspected upon delivery, and any damages must be reported within 28 days of receipt or prior to installation (whichever comes first). BeModern© operates a preinstallation no-quibble guarantee. Goods that are damaged may be returned to the company, provided collection authorisation is received (according to our conditions of sale –details available at www.atlantabathrooms.com).

Our products are sold on a supply-only basis, and our guarantee does not cover installation, or any consequential costs incurred due to product faults or defects.

The pre-authorised return of non-faulty products that are no longer required will be subject to a re-stocking charge and must be returned in suitable packaging for resale.
