Our Minor Policy
Bankstown Sports Club is a family-friendly venue with dining and entertainment to cater for all ages.
To protect the well-being of every guest and comply with NSW liquor laws, minors are welcome only when accompanied and closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
A Responsible Adult:
• A parent, step-parent or guardian;
• An adult over the age of 25, acting in place of a parent/guardian
A MINOR is any person under the age of 18. Manager discretion applies at all times.
We encourage families to enjoy our venue together.
Please be aware that management may offer guidance at any time, and responsible adults and minors are expected to follow instructions for everyone’s enjoyment and compliance.
Enjoying Our Venue Together: Simple Rules
Under NSW liquor laws, minors are not permitted to enter or remain in a registered club unless accompanied by a responsible adult. For everyone’s comfort and safety, we ask that you follow these 3 simple rules:
1. Minors must not consume or handle alcohol at any time.
2. Remember that minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, and must be no more than an arm’s length away.
• Responsible adults must accompany minors when using restrooms; and
• Ensure minors do not access restricted areas.
3. Always be considerate of other guests. Unacceptable behaviour such as offensive language, excessive noise, climbing on furniture, running indoors, or disrespecting staff and property will not be tolerated.
If these rules are not followed, both the responsible adult and minor may be required to leave the venue.
Family-Friendly Zones
Under NSW liquor laws, minors may only enter or remain in a registered club if accompanied by a responsible adult. Minors are not permitted in restricted areas, including gaming sections and within two metres of the bar. Please refer to our listed areas for further details on spaces where families and younger guests are welcome.

Minors are permitted in the café until 10.30pm
Rainforest Lounge
Minors are permitted in the lounge until 10.30pm
