COACH HARBAUGH SAYS ON THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN PLAYERS & COACHES THAT BUILDS CULTURE:
“At this level, there’s a real collaboration between coaches and players, especially nowadays in the NFL. These are grown men. These are guys that are professionals; they take their careers very seriously. It means a lot to them, and they understand how the season works. We’ll do [something called] ‘Wise Words,’ when players talk to the team. We have different captains every week. They say brilliant things. We have that kind of leadership and that kind of culture where it’s grown from within, nurtured from within. Those are the guys that set the tone. That’s what you want.”

QUICK HITS ✗ The Baltimore Ravens (2-2) travel to face the Cincinnati Bengals
(1-3) for each team's first AFC North showdown of the season. With kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET from Paycor Stadium, the Ravens seek their third-straight win after recent victories vs. Buffalo (35-10 in Week 4) and at Dallas (28-25 in Week 3). Meanwhile, the Bengals are coming off a 34-24 win at Carolina last Sunday. ✗ In his 17th season with the Ravens, John Harbaugh stands as the NFL’s second-longest-tenured coach (Mike Tomlin - 18). Harbaugh has led Baltimore to 11 playoff berths, winning Super Bowl XLVII in 2012 and producing a 174-111 overall record (including playoffs). Coach Harbaugh is 17-15 vs. the Bengals in regular season play, winning two straight contests (2023 season sweep). The Ravens are 4-4 (including playoffs) in their last eight games at Cincinnati, winning 27-24 last season in Week 2. ✗ Baltimore enters Sunday's contest with the NFL's No. 1 offense (429.5 ypg), including the league's top-ranked rushing attack (220.3 ypg). Through four weeks, the Ravens are also averaging 26.5 points per game (the NFL's fifth-best mark). ✗ In last week's Sunday Night Football victory over Buffalo, Baltimore limited the Bills' offense, which entered the contest ranking No. 1 in scoring (37.3 ppg), to 10 points. With 3 sacks (2 by OLB Kyle Van Noy & 1 from OLB Odafe Oweh), Buffalo was 3-of-13 on third down (23.1%) and held to a season-low 236 total yards. RB Derrick Henry led the offensive charge with a gamehigh 199 rushing yards and 1 TD on 24 attempts (8.3 avg.), part of Baltimore’s 271 overall ground yards. He added 3 catches for 10 yards, including a 5-yard TD, while QB Lamar Jackson finished 13-of-18 for 156 yards and 2 TDs (135.4 rating), also posting 54 rushing yards and 1 TD on 6 carries (9.0 avg.).
INJURY UPDATE CB Arthur Maulet (knee) is on IR/DFR and is eligible to return to practice in Week 5, while standout second-year RB Keaton Mitchell (knee) began the season on Reserve/PUP, as he continues to rehab a 2023 Week 15 injury. CB Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) was placed on IR on Sept. 28, while starting NT Michael Pierce (shoulder) and LG Andrew Vorhees (ankle) didn't play in last week's win vs. Buffalo.
NOTE THE QUOTE THE RINGER 'S STEVEN RUIZ ON BALTIMORE'S RUSHING ATTACK:
"This isn't just the best two-headed rushing attack in the league today – it might be the best we've ever seen. [Lamar] Jackson and [Derrick] Henry are on pace to finish with a combined 3,349 rushing yards this season."
