COACH HARBAUGH SAYS ON THE TEAM'S WEEK 3 MINDSET: “I’ve heard it said that the NFL season is a race to improve to become the best team you can be over the course of the long haul. The race is a marathon, and we have to try to continue to improve as much as we can every single day. Sometimes your improvement shows up, and sometimes it doesn’t. ... We need to keep pounding the rock, and the rock is going to crack. That’s our job to keep pounding [and to] not get discouraged, not think all is for nothing, and continue to work. Our reward will be out there in the future if we continue to do that.”

QUICK HITS ✗ The Baltimore Ravens face the Dallas Cowboys for a Week 3 battle at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET kickoff). Baltimore has dropped two tight contests to open the season (27-20 at KC & 2623 vs. LV), while Dallas is coming off a 44-19 loss at home to New Orleans, following a 33-17 Week 1 win at Cleveland.

the NFL’s second-longest-tenured coach (Mike Tomlin - 18). Under Harbaugh, Baltimore (11) is one of four teams (NE - 12, GB - 12 & KC - 11) to earn a playoff berth in at least 11 of the past 16 seasons. With QB Lamar Jackson at starter, the Ravens have also made the playoffs in five of the past six seasons.
including a 1-1 mark in the Lone Star State. Under Coach Harbaugh, the Ravens are 3-1 vs. the Cowboys (1-1 in Dallas), with these teams last meeting on a Tuesday night in Baltimore during the 2020 COVID-affected season (Ravens won, 34-17).
T RONNIE STANLEY ON HIS BELIEF IN THE RAVENS: ”Our standard is very
high, and [0-2] is definitely not OK for us to start that way. The type of effort and tenacity these guys are giving is second to none. I’m not doubting the type of people we have and type of character we have in this locker room, but we have to buckle down on these details that really make a difference when you’re playing at this level.”
✗ After falling (26-23) to Las Vegas last Sunday, Baltimore started
0-2 for just the second time (2015) during Coach Harbaugh's 17year tenure. The Ravens' defense allowed Vegas 260 total yards (233 passing & 27 rushing), while the offense registered 383 (232 passing & 151 rushing). Baltimore's overall yardage output wasn't enough, however, as the Raiders overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit and ultimately kicked a 38-yard gamewinning FG with :27 seconds remaining. The Ravens posted 5 sacks, including 2.5 by OLB Odafe Oweh and 2 from OLB Kyle Van Noy. RB Derrick Henry rushed for a game-high 84 yards and 1 TD, while WR Zay Flowers had 7 catches for 91 yards and 1 TD.
