COACH HARBAUGH SAYS COACH HARBAUGH ON THE 'FOUR-GAME SEASON': (2-11)

QUICK HITS ✗ The Baltimore Ravens (8-5) visit the Meadowlands to face the

New York Giants (2-11) at MetLife Stadium. Baltimore, which sits two games back of the 10-3 Steelers in the AFC North, is coming off its Week 14 bye. The Ravens are 4-3 on the road this season, while the Giants are seeking their first home victory (0-7 thus far). ✗ The Ravens are 4-3 against the NYG in all-time regular season play, including a 2-3 mark under John Harbaugh. These teams last met in 2022 at MetLife Stadium, where the Giants won, 24-20. ✗ In his 17th season at Baltimore's helm, Harbaugh stands as the NFL’s second-longest-tenured coach (Mike Tomlin – 18). He has led the Ravens to 11 playoff berths and produced a 180-114 overall record (including playoffs), winning Super Bowl XLVII during 2012 campaign. ✗ Led by two-time MVP QB Lamar Jackson, Baltimore boasts the NFL's No. 1 offense (422.5 ypg) and is No. 3 in scoring (29.5 ppg). Jackson has excelled both passing (3,290 yards, 29 TDs & 3 INTs for an NFL-best 116.3 rating) and rushing (678 yards & 3 TDs). ✗ Baltimore's No. 2-ranked rush attack (179.1 ypg) is fueled by RB Derrick Henry, who has the NFL's second-most ground yards (1,407). Henry has registered NFL bests in total TDs (15, tied w/ Ja'Marr Chase) and rushing TDs (13, tied w/ Jalen Hurts). ✗ The Ravens' defense ranks No. 1 vs. the run (82.7 ypg allowed) and is No. 3 in sacks (41), behind OLB Odafe Oweh and OLB Kyle Van Noy's 8 apiece. CB Marlon Humphrey has produced 5 INTs, tying (Donte Jackson) for the league's fourth most. ✗ After New York, Baltimore hosts Pittsburgh on Saturday (Dec. 21) and then plays at Houston on a Wednesday Christmas evening.

“We have a four-game season in front of us right now. This is the season; it begins now. The season is important to determine the important outcomes for the rest of the way – that’s what we’re focused on. We’ll be focusing on this game, putting everything we’ve got into it, and then we’ll go from there. ... This is our opportunity, and it’s about the football. Let’s go play our best football. We’re in a good place. We have a bunch of great players and a bunch of great coaches. We have some tough opponents in front of us starting with the Giants on Sunday, and let’s go see what we’re all about.”

INJURY UPDATE Veteran OLB Kyle Van Noy (hamstring/neck) missed the Week 13 game vs. Philadelphia. In that Eagles games, WR Rashod Bateman (knee) and rookie S Sanoussi Kane (hamstring) left the contest and didn’t return.

NOTE THE QUOTE RAVENS RB S COACH WILLIE TAGGART ON RB DERRICK HENRY:

"He's hungry. The way he trains himself, the way he practices, the way he prepares, he's going to be ready to finish the year like we need him to. ... Derrick hasn't had a lot of carries, a lot of wear and tear on him this year, so I think it's set up perfectly for him to finish the year like he's capable of and what we expect out of him. Derrick is fresh right now, and that's great."
