COACH HARBAUGH SAYS ON COMPETITIVE NATURE & APPROACH TO CHASING SUCCESS EACH WEEK:

“You can’t get all down on yourself and start saying, ‘Oh, we didn’t do this right. We didn’t do that right. We're going to beat ourselves up.’ You feel bad about it, but then you pick yourself up off the mat and go to work, because we have a big game coming up. If we win this game, we’re going to be in great shape. If we don’t win this game, it’s not going to be the end of the world; that’s just a fact, and we'll go to the next game. We have a bunch of fighters, we have a bunch of competitors, and we’re going to make the best decisions we can that are best for our team to play the best football that they can the very next week coming up.”

QUICK HITS ✗ The Baltimore Ravens (7-4) venture west to battle the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3) on ESPN's Monday Night Football. Both teams sit second in their respective divisions, with Baltimore winning seven of its past nine games, while Los Angeles has won four straight. ✗ This contest marks the third matchup between brothers Jim and John Harbaugh. In the NFL's first-ever game featuring brothers as opposing head coaches, John's Ravens bested Jim's 49ers, 16-6, in a 2011 Thanksgiving Night special. Then during the 2012 season, the Ravens topped SF, 34-31, to win Super Bowl XLVII. ✗ In his 17th season, John Harbaugh stands as the NFL’s secondlongest-tenured coach (Mike Tomlin – 18). He has led Baltimore to 11 playoff berths and produced a 179-113 overall record (including playoffs), while Jim has accumulated a 56-25-1 overall mark in his five NFL seasons. ✗ Baltimore is 9-6 (including playoffs) in the all-time series vs. the Chargers, including a 6-3 mark under John Harbaugh. The Ravens have won the past two meetings, including a 20-10 decision in Week 12 at LAC last season, and have posted a 4-1 record when facing the Chargers in California. ✗ The NFL's No. 1 offense (430.1 ypg) is led by two-time MVP QB Lamar Jackson, who's been outstanding both passing (2,876 yards, 25 TDs & 3 INTs for an NFL-best 117.3 rating) and rushing (584 yards & 2 TDs). ✗ Baltimore's No. 2-ranked ground attack (177.3 ypg) is fueled by RB Derrick Henry, who leads the league in rushing yards (1,185) and total TDs (15 – 13 rushing & 2 receiving).

INJURY UPDATE CB Arthur Maulet (calf) did not play last Sunday at Pittsburgh. AllPro LB Roquan Smith (hamstring) left the Steelers game and did not return, as did rookie S Sanoussi Kane (ankle), who's been a special teams standout this season.

NOTE THE QUOTE THE ATHLETIC 'S DERRIK KLASSEN ON S KYLE HAMILTON:

"He is truly a one of one, in terms of body type, physicality and coverage skill. When you have an organization that is so well-honed to what they want to do and what they want to be, to have a player of this caliber, I think they're always going to get the best out of him."
