WORLD CHAMPIONS: SUPER BOWL XXXV (2000) & SUPER BOWL XLVII (2012)

A TLANTA F ALCONS VS . B ALTIMORE R AVENS (5-9)

WEEK 16 – SATURDAY, DEC. 24, 2022 1 P.M. ET – M&T BANK STADIUM (70,745)

C OAC H H A R B S S AY S JOHN HARBAUGH ON THE RAVENS' WEEK 16 FOCUS: “We’re in a really tight chase for our division. It’s us and the Bengals trying to win the division. We want to win this division. So, we’re going to put all of our focus and all of our energy into trying to find a way to do that. ... We have a big game Saturday against Atlanta at our place, and it’s a game that we have to win. So, we’ll be looking to do everything we can do to make sure we’re at our best on Saturday."

(9-5)

QUICK HITS

✗ The Baltimore Ravens (9-5), who have won six of their past eight games, host the Atlanta Falcons (5-9) in a Christmas Eve contest from M&T Bank Stadium. Baltimore currently sits one game behind the Bengals (10-4) for the AFC North lead with three regular season games to play, including a Week 18 contest in Cincinnati.

I N J U RY U P DAT E QB Lamar Jackson (knee) has missed the past two games. Last Saturday at Cleveland, standout defenders DE Calais Campbell (knee) and CB Marcus Peters (calf) left the game and didn't return. Starters WR Rashod Bateman (foot) and NT Michael Pierce (biceps) are on season-ending Injured Reserve.

✗ Entering Week 16, the Ravens hold the AFC's fifth playoff seed. Baltimore has clinched a postseason berth in three of the past four seasons (2018-20) and has earned the playoffs nine times during head coach John Harbaugh's 14 seasons.

NOTE THE QUOTE

✗ Baltimore is now 9-5 for the sixth time in franchise history (also 2001, 2008, 2012, 2014 & 2020), earning a playoff berth in each of those previous seasons. The 2022 campaign marks the Ravens' 11th winning season with Coach Harbaugh at the helm.

RB J.K. DOBBINS ON THE RAVENS' MINDSET MOVING FORWARD: "Everything we want is still in front of us. We are going to keep stacking. We are going to take it game by game. We can’t look ahead. We are going to stack it, we are going to get ready for Atlanta, and we are going to do everything we can to win that game. Then, we are going to do everything we can to win the next game, win the next play and win the next second. I have faith in our guys, because that is how we are in the locker room.”

✗ Baltimore leads the all-time series vs. Atlanta, 4-2. Under Coach Harbaugh, the Ravens are 2-1 against the Falcons, last winning a 2018 battle in Atlanta, 26-16.

✗ With starting QB Lamar Jackson (knee) sidelined for the secondstraight game, the Ravens dropped a tough contest at Cleveland last Saturday, 13-3. Though Baltimore rushed for 198 yards, including 125 by RB J.K. Dobbins, the Ravens were only able to score 3 points (a 53-yard K Justin Tucker FG) in the cold, blustery conditions. QB Tyler Huntley was 17-of-30 for 138 yards, throwing 1 INT. Baltimore also lost a fumble (WR Demarcus Robinson) and was unable to convert a fourth-and-1 situation from the Browns' 7-yard line on its opening offensive drive. The Ravens outgained Cleveland in total yards (324283), with LB Roquan Smith posting a team-high 11 tackles, including 1 for loss. Baltimore also tallied 3 sacks, holding QB Deshaun Watson to 161 yards on 18-of-28 passing in his first home game as Cleveland's starter.
