WARDELL GREEN SPACE IN FULL SWING

Wardell’s new community space came alive for its first major event in August for the Wardell River Festival.
This event was organised by Wardell Core and supported through Council’s Festival and Events Sponsorship Program.

Wardell’s new community space includes a pedestrian-friendly zone with paving, seating,
and drainage, and removable bollards so that it can be opened for events. The $1.7 million project was jointly funded by the Commonwealth and NSW Governments, Council. See page 12 for more photos from the Wardell River Festival.
