MAJOR TRANSFORMATION NOW UNDERWAY FOR ALSTONVILLE CULTURAL CENTRE Big changes are happening onsite at the Alstonville Cultural Centre, with the transformation of the much-loved community facility now well underway.
Over recent weeks, demolition works have ramped up, with walls and sections of roofing starting to come down to make way for a modern, energy-efficient and futureready space for the Alstonville community. These important early works are laying the foundation for a significantly upgraded facility designed to serve the community for decades to come.
This critical work will help ensure the facility meets modern safety standards long into the future.
A major milestone in the project will soon see the building’s internal steel structure exposed, allowing specialists to carry out detailed condition assessments and upgrades.

The upgrade will also deliver new insulated cladding for improved comfort, weather protection and energy efficiency — creating a better experience for everyone who uses the centre.
