SILKY OAKS LODGE MANAGER

A stay at the lodge is inclusive of tropical breakfast, dinner with inspired daily changing menu matched with selected premium wines, signature evening drinks and snacks, selected in-suite bar, morning yoga and a daily return scheduled shuttle to Port Douglas. Reflecting the tranquil surrounds, dress is relaxed at Silky Oaks Lodge. Easy to wear, resort style clothing for daytime and smart casual attire for evening is recommended. Comfortable solid footwear is essential for rainforest walks, as is a hat and sunscreen. Swimwear is essential for relaxing poolside or for a refreshing swim in the Mossman River.

Check-In / Check-Out Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 10.30am. Where possible, flexibility with early check-in and late check-out will be provided, however, these are unable to be guaranteed.

Lodge & Local For those antsy for action, there’s plenty to do at the lodge from morning yoga and selfguided walks with exclusive access to the Fig Tree Rapids walking trails to river swimming and snorkelling, as well as the use of electronic bikes and the gymnasium. The lodge also offers a daily scheduled shuttle transfer to Port Douglas.

Bespoke Experiences Situated among the region’s renowned natural attractions including the Daintree National Park, Great Barrier Reef and Cape Tribulation, Silky Oaks Lodge is a luxurious base from which to plan your adventures. The lodge recommends a selection of local operators who together offer a host of regional experiences from drift-snorkelling along the Mossman River and helicopter tours to Indigenous cultural walks and diving the Great Barrier Reef. Healing Waters Spa Set among lush rainforest gardens, the Healing Waters Spa is inspired by ancient beliefs that celebrate water in the Mossman River as a renewing and life-giving force.
