From the lush coastal rainforests of Vancouver Island to the shimmering salt pans of the Atacama, the Beckons collection offers all manner of possibilities –unique human encounters, perspectives to be shared, flavors to savor, and natural wonders to delight in.

Today’s discerning travelers meet the world on deeper terms. They want connections that stir the mind and the spirit; new perspectives formed in nature’s most inspiring places, and new appreciation of where we fit into it all. They ask to see more, understand more, grow more – and to be thoughtfully cared for along the way. Beckons answers that call.
We are a collection of globally-celebrated lodges, each chosen for and shaped by a singular, unforgettable landscape. All were made to foster immersion and inspire connection – with land and water, with others and self, and with the cultures and communities that we've become a meaningful part of.
From the dazzling vastness of Australia’s Red Centre, to the serene riverine forests of New Zealand’s North Island, to the high peaks and fathomless skies of Chilean Patagonia, Beckons brings together rare experiences in remarkable places. As you travel between lodges, our personalized itineraries are shaped by the people that know each place best, filling each stay with the stories that move you most. Every step reveals more of the landscape, its stories and the people who call it home.

Our lodges – each one of them expertly curated for today’s world-wise explorers and seekers – have been lauded as among the very best in the world, winning multiple awards and distinctions from the most discerning publications and travel experts, including the MICHELIN Guide, Robb Report, World’s 50 Best Hotels, Condé Nast Traveler, and Travel + Leisure.

Each location was chosen with revelation in mind. It celebrates outstanding natural beauty, illuminates unique cultures in all their nuance, and harnesses the perspective-changing power of wholly living a destination.
Our lodges are designed to be in dynamic conversation with their surroundings. Volumes and scale, surfaces and materials, color, light, and shadow: the architecture and interiors conspire to shape unforgettable perspectives.
Our people are master storytellers. On a guided walk, a culinary adventure, an exploration of regional art or just an impromptu history lesson shared next to a warm fire over a glass of a local Pinot Noir: their passion and expertise lie in crafting full, rich pictures of the places they know and love deeply.

Working with networks of experts that span the globe, our team, with its collective decades of experience, is adept at making even the longest haul to the remotest place a pleasure in itself.

Thoughtful; warm; perceptive. Service at Beckons is about small, well-timed gestures that show we’re always thinking about how to enrich any given moment of your journey. Our intuitive approach makes every interaction deeply personal, from crafting your perfect post-hike drink, to creating story-led culinary adventures shaped around you.
We are stewards of conservation, culture, and education in the communities in which we operate, ensuring their protection and regeneration. Working with the people who make the place is a long-term investment – one we know creates real, felt connections for our guests.

At Beckons, meals are grounded in the rhythm of the seasons, guided by the offerings of land and sea, and by the people who cultivate them. Menus evolve daily, using only ingredients that are fresh, gathered or harvested nearby. Our intentional approach creates an experience that’s expressive and connected to the surroundings.
Across the Beckons collection, chefs work with and empower local growers, fishers, and artisans, bringing their terroir to our tables. From our own kitchen gardens, flourishing with native and heirloom fruits and vegetables, to sustainably-sourced seafood and small-batch produce, we select ingredients for their quality and their provenance. It’s a “grower to guest” philosophy that translates into thoughtful, beautifullypresented expressions of the landscape, satisfying body and soul.

Wellness at Beckons is shaped by the wild. We let the natural places that our lodges are part of guide our care of you; their unique cultures of nurturing and revitalising inform every aspect of your wellbeing experience. After days spent exploring the outdoors, our lodges’ calming spa spaces soothe and restore mind, body, and spirit, inviting you to recover and reconnect.
Treatments draw on native plants, minerals and traditions unique to each destination. From desert salts and bush medicines to rainforest botanicals and Andean herbs, ingredients bring proven therapeutic qualities and cultural significance to rituals that are grounding, healing, and always personalized.

We believe luxury is about immersion: in nature, landscapes, local cultures – and most of all, immersion in the moment. A stay at any of our lodges is an invitation to share rare and precious experiences and transformative encounters. Our seasoned teams craft personalized itineraries for every day of your journey, while our expert guides bring them to vivid life through rich sensory explorations and captivating storytelling. Discover some of our signature experiences, each shepherding you deeper into every destination.

A four-course dinner, paired with fine wines from across the country, showcases modern Australian cuisine, while the lodge’s guides tell captivating stories of the constellations spinning above, alternating between Indigenous creation tales and Greek mythology, as Uluru stands sentinel in the distance.

A helicopter skims the woods on a scenic ride up to Ursus Mountain's 4,000-foot summit, where an aperitif of sparkling wine and artisanal charcuterie accompanies spellbinding views across Clayoquot Sound. The surrounding days put you on intimate terms with nature – hiking glacier-fed ravines, exploring the Bedwell Valley on horseback, and cruising the sound, spotting black bears, otters, sea lions and orcas.

Committed anglers have made the pilgrimage to Huka Lodge for over a century, lured by the legendarily abundant brown and rainbow trout that populate the Taupō river system. Winter sees the fish teeming here in peak numbers, the perfect moment for the novice to cast a line into the Waikato River – which happens to flow right past the lodge’s stylishly understated suites – with an expert instructor. More experienced guests have access to the Tongariro, or the ultra-challenging Waitahanui, for fly-fishing with one of the lodge’s top professional guides.

Journey along a spectacular cliffside boardwalk from Admirals Arch to the historic Cape du Couedic Lighthouse, where fur seals cavort in massive ocean swells around a spectacular natural-grotto sanctuary at the southernmost tip of the island (the next stop is Antarctica). Then explore the wind-sculpted granite monoliths of the iconic 500 million-year-old Remarkable Rocks, their glittering surfaces, streaked with blooms of golden lichen, offering an ever-changing canvas of color in the ocean light.

An iconic Torres del Paine trek that’s challenging and awe-inspiring in equal measure. Your private guide will lead you along the banks of the Ascensio River, through lenga forest and up a few short grades – setting a comfortable pace before the final ascent to the base of the soaring Towers and their glacial lake.
